I was born in 1969 in Sivas. I graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1994. I worked in the emergency room as a general practitioner in the Erzincan Refahiye district for five years. After that, I specialized in family medicine at Van Yuzuncu Yl University to become a family medicine specialist. After working for six years in the Sivas Hafik district, I started to work as an assistant professor at Kahramanmaras Sutcuimam University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine. I became an associate professor in 2014. My main area of interest is nicotine addiction treatment. I have treated over 2000 nicotine addicts in the smoking cessation outpatient clinic. I am still working in the emergency department of Avicenna Atasehir Hospital.
