Born in 1955 in Antalya. He completed his education at Eskişehir Anatolian High School in 1973. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1980. He performed his specialty at Gazi University in 1986. He also studied at the Faculty of Medicine in Brescia – Italy with Professor Brunelli through a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery in 1985.
During 1986-1987, he was a reserve officer at Kutahya Airforce Hospital as a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He completed his compulsory service in 1990, worked as a specialist in orthopedics and fractures at Agri Hospital and Burdur Governmental Hospital. In 1990-1993 he worked in the Hand Surgery Centers at the French Pasteur Hospital and the American VKV Hospital. In 1994, he went through his fellowship experience again in hand surgery with Professor Lanz in Germany.
Moreover, he worked at the American Center for Hand Surgery and Microsurgery at the American FKF Hospital. He performed about 300 surgeries and has been at Avicenna Umut Kartal Hospital since 2001
