Dr. Ender Kavukçu graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and completed his Urology specialization at S.B. Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, receiving his title as Urology Specialist in 2009. In the same year, he successfully passed the FEBU (Fellow of the European Board of Urology) examination conducted by the European Association of Urology.
Between 2010 and 2011, he completed his military service as ESWL Unit Manager at GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital, Urology Clinic. He began his compulsory service at Van Regional Training Hospital in 2011, where he later served as Administrative Manager of the Urology Clinic between 2012 and 2015.
He subsequently worked as a Urology Specialist at Kartal Yavuz Selim State Hospital (2015–2018) and Tuzla State Hospital (2018–2021). Dr. Kavukçu joined Avicenna International Hospital in 2022, where he continues to provide specialist urological care to local and international patients.
Dr. Kavukçu’s professional interests include general urology and urological surgery, kidney and urinary tract stones, ESWL and endourology, prostate diseases, uro-oncology, andrology and male genital health, testicular and scrotal conditions, varicocele, and minimally invasive urological procedures.
He has actively participated in major international and national urology meetings, including the American Urological Association (AUA), European Association of Urology (EAU), European Society of Urology Oncology (ESOU), and International Continence Society (ICS), and has further enhanced his expertise through congresses and specialized training programs held in cities such as Atlanta, Milan, Prague, San Francisco, Washington, and Istanbul.
His academic and professional credentials include the FEBU — Fellow of the European Board of Urology (European Association of Urology) and his specialization in urology from S.B. Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital.
He speaks Turkish and English.
