I was born in 1964 in Istanbul. I am married and have one child. I studied primary, secondary and high school in Istanbul. I graduated from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. I did compulsory service in Konya Hadim and Kulu districts. I spent a year as a general practitioner in Kocaeli and six years in Istanbul. I started my specialization in Anesthesia and Reanimation in 1998 at Doctor Lütfi Kırdar KEAH. I became an expert in 2002. Until 2019, I worked as an Anesthesia and Reanimation Specialist at Doctor Luütfi Kırdar KEAH. I performed anesthesia in all departments except for CVC anesthesia. I am a member of Turkish Anesthesia and Reanimation Association and Turkish Intensive Care Association. I took part in the training for assistants. I completed four thesis advisories. I participated in several trainings and made poster presentations at national and international conferences. I have written articles in various national magazines. My article, The Effect of Comorbid Diseases on Intensive Care Hospitalization in Advanced Age Patients Undergoing Hip Surgery, was published most recently in the journal Turk Geriatrics in 2018. After retiring from public service in 2019, I started to work as an Anesthesia and Reanimation Specialist at Atasehir Avicenna Hospital.
