He was born in 1977 in Istanbul. He completed his secondary education from Anatolian Üsküdar School, graduated from Cerrahpaşa University Medical Faculty in 2001, and completed his residency in Dermatology and Venereology at Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital. He completed his compulsory service at Gumuşhane Hospital, then he worked for a short period at Maltepe University Hospital. Moreover, he is now working at Avicenna Umut Hospital/ Kartal. He is fluent in English and German. He is particularly interested in the Phototherapy application which is used in the treatment of vitiligo and psoriasis.
