At our hospital, slimming operations (Sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass) for morbidly obese patients failing to lose weight in spite of diet and exer- cise, and in life-threatening diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, ar- terioschlerosis, coronary artery disease, elevation in blood fats, snoring, extreme fatigue, sleep apnea are performed using laparoscopic methods. Preoperative evaluation and tests are performed before the operation, and the patient is discharged after 2-3 days of monitoring at the hospital. Following surgery using this method, our patients lose weight in a short time, achieving a healthy life with a decrease in the risk of cardiovascular diseases, decrease in blood sugar, decrease and complete disappearance in insulin requirement, and the improvement of sleep apnea.
