Doctor Sezai Celik
Prof. Dr. Sezai Celik graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Karadeniz Technical University in 1993. From 1994 to 2009, he worked at Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, which is the largest thoracic and cardiovascular hospital in Turkey. In the following years, he worked at Medicana Hospitals Group, Yeditepe University, and our group hospital. He has personally performed and assisted in over 8,000 lung and heart surgeries. He has conducted research as a researcher at Gladstone Laboratories in San Francisco, USA, and Moscow State Academy in the Russian Federation.
He shared his experiences in both national and international books. He is a member of the Turkish Thoracic Surgery, Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery, and European Thoracic Surgery Society. Dr. Celik has published more than 60 national and international articles, and these articles have received over 340 citations.
Currently, he is a professor and faculty member in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Uskudar University and continues to perform operations at the International Avicenna Hospital.
He has published 55 articles in national and international journals, with over 200 citations worldwide.
